The Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers (Lawrence, MA), 65-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA). The The Red Tailed Hawk go into the Commonwealth - Lower test with a 4-3 record.

The Panthers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Nashoba Valley Tech for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. Notre Dame Cristo Rey will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 69-64 league loss to Academy of Notre Dame (Tyngsborough, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
