Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch topples Nansemond River

In Friday's league outing, the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad beat the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), by a count of 76-66.

The Bruins (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Southeastern outing with a 1-8 record.

The Warriors now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Great Bridge for a Southeastern outing on Tuesday, January 16.
