Texas High School Basketball - Spruce trounced by North Mesquite

In Friday's league match, the host North Mesquite Stallions basketball team scored a decisive 69-32 triumph over the Spruce Timberwolves.

In their next game, the Stallions meet the Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 match, on Tuesday, January 16. North Mesquite will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 12-7 record after their 61-50 league loss to Samuell (Dallas, TX).
