New York High School Basketball - Northeastern Clinton knocked off by Saranac Lake

The Saranac Lake Red Storm basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars to 45 in the Red Storm league triumph on Friday.

The Red Storm now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ticonderoga for a Section 7 Champlain Valley II contest on Tuesday, January 16. Saranac Lake will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 68-40 league loss to Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-5.

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Spartans enter the Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Saranac was defeated by Moriah (Port Henry, NY), 54-52, in a league contest.
