Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ravenna Ravens (Ravenna, OH), 70-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Norton upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH) to play the Rockets in a Metro bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Streetsboro lost 56-41 in their recent league bout against Coventry (Akron, OH)

Next up, the Ravens play the Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) in a Metro bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Ravenna will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Colts come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 81-68 league loss to Springfield (Akron, OH).
