The Parkers Chapel Trojans basketball team (El Dorado, AR), was routed 64-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR)
The Bears now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rison for a 2A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Woodlawn will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 72-45 league loss to Ouachita (Donaldson, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-13.
The Trojans (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Fordyce (Fordyce, AR). The Redbugs come into the 2A Region 8 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Fordyce was routed by Junction City (Junction City, AR), 65-55, in a league battle.
