Alabama High School Basketball - Woodlawn topped by Pell City

The Pell City Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Woodlawn Colonels to 60 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Brook for a 6A Area 10 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Pell City will battle a Spartans team coming off a 42-35 league win over Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 16-6.
The Colonels (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-18 record. In their last contest, Center Point was defeated by Gardendale (Gardendale, AL), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
