The Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines (Alamo, TX), 58-46 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (10-17) will now prepare for their test against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX). The Javelinas go into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 2-18 record. In their last test, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest went down by Vela (Edinburg, TX), 90-50, in a league test.

The Wolverines now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they host Rowe for a 5A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, January 16. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 56-43 league loss to Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 17-10.
