The Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) basketball nipped the visiting River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 51-44 in Friday's league test.

The Wolves (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Carrollton was tipped by Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 59-58, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Buford for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. River Ridge will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 50-48 league win over Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 14-3.
