The Sacred Heart Rebels basketball team (Morrilton, AR), was overwhelmed 69-38 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR)

The Rockets now possess a 23-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Guy-Perkins for a 1A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Scranton will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 73-23 league loss to Wonderview (Hattieville, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-15.

The Rebels (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Arkansas School for the Deaf (Little Rock, AR). The Leopards come into the 1A Region 4 battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Arkansas School for the Deaf was overwhelmed by Oklahoma School for the Deaf (Sulphur, OK), 45-27, in a non-league battle.
