The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Saint Francis Lancers to 42 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellarmine College Prep for a West Catholic contest on Tuesday, January 16. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will battle a Bells team coming off a 42-37 league loss to Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Bells record now stands at 6-8.
The Lancers (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres come into the West Catholic contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Serra prevailed over Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 42-37, in a league contest.
