Seneca East Tigers (Attica, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wynford Royals (Bucyrus, OH), 69-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Seneca East upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers host Arcadia (Arcadia, OH) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Arcadia lost 60-35 in their recent league bout against Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Wynford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 54-41 league loss to Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH).
