South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA), 53-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Gate upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Salesian (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-11. Salesian won 50-37 in their recent league bout against Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Wilson Mules (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. South East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Mules come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 85-71 league win over Franklin (Los Angeles, CA).
