UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL), 64-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, UMS-Wright Prep upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Williamson (Mobile, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 15-5.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) in a 4A Area 1 bout, on Friday, January 19. St. Michael Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record.
