The Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was toppled 77-69 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Tabernacle Christian Conquerors (Hickory, NC)

The Conquerors now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alamance Christian for a NCCSA AA West Region 2 battle on Friday, January 19.

The Eagles (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC). The Patriots come into the NCCSA AA West Region 1 battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, Union Grove Christian beat New Manna Christian (Marion, NC), 71-46, in a non-league battle.
