With the victory, Chavez improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Titans host Kennedy (Delano, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Kennedy won 26-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Frontier (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Taft will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
