Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) and the host Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA), saw Lassiter's basketball squad wallop Alpharetta by a count of 63-27.

With the victory, Lassiter upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Roswell (Roswell, GA) to play the Hornets in a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Roswell lost 51-42 in their recent league challenge against Pope (Marietta, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Alpharetta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Jasper County (Monticello, GA).
