The Hoonah Braves basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the host Angoon Eagles to 21 in the Braves non-league victory on Friday.
The Braves now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Skagway for a 1A Southeast contest on Monday, January 15. Hoonah will battle a Panthers team coming off a 38-32 non-league loss to Klawock (Klawock, AK). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hoonah (Hoonah, AK). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Hoonah prevailed over Skagway (Skagway, AK), 35-32, in a league contest.
