Arlington Memorial Eagles (Arlington, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sharon Academy Phoenix (Sharon, VT), 46-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arlington Memorial upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Proctor (Proctor, VT) to clash with the Phantoms in a Marble Valley - C bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Phantoms go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Proctor lost 63-31 in their recent league bout against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT)

Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) in a Marble Valley - D bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Sharon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 55-20 non-league loss to Long Trail (Dorset, VT).
