Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Georgetown-Ridge Farm upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Salt Fork (Sidell, IL) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 17-5.

Next up, the Trojans play the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 15. Armstrong will attempt to advance on its 4-16 season record. The Storm go into the test with a 17-5 record after their 59-11 league win over Westville (Westville, IL).
