The Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 62-13 in Friday's non-league test.
The (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Northside Christian walloped Gueydan (Gueydan, LA), 33-20, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. John for a non-league test on Monday, January 15. Riverside Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 53-22 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-10.
