Camden Fairview Cardinals (Camden, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR), 74-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Camden Fairview upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Malvern (Malvern, AR) to play the Leopards in a 4A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Leopards come into the bout with a record of 4-12. Malvern lost 49-39 in their recent league bout against Magnolia (Magnolia, AR)

Next up, the Panthers play the Arkadelphia Badgers (Arkadelphia, AR) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Ashdown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Badgers come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 52-42 league win over Hope (Hope, AR).
