In Friday's league outing, the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV), by a count of 43-20.

The Longhorns (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV). The Bighorns go into the 2A Northern outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Oasis Academy was crushed by Yerington (Yerington, NV), 51-10, in a league outing.

The Highlanders now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Sierra Lutheran for a 2A Northern outing on Friday, January 19. Incline will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 39-27 league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Falcons record now stands at 5-5.
