Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Moss Point Tigers (Moss Point, MS), 31-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Bay upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Fairhope lost 61-49 in their recent league challenge against Foley (Foley, AL)

Next up, the Tigers confront the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Moss Point will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 41-39 league win over St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, AL).
