Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 60-5 in a league bout.
With the victory, Ben L. Smith upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Oak City Prep (Raleigh, NC) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Oak City Prep won 52-22 in their recent non-league bout against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC)
Next up, the Bison play the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 3A Mid-State bout, on Friday, January 19. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Camels come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 38-32 league loss to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).
