The Lake Dallas Falcons basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the visiting Birdville Hawks to 23 in the Falcons league victory on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Argyle for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Lake Dallas will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-13 league win over Denton (Denton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 25-3.

The Hawks (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 21-7 record. In their last contest, Ryan prevailed over Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 56-48, in a league contest.
