Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN), 70-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brainerd upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Detroit Lakes lost 62-31 in their recent league bout against Alexandria (Alexandria, MN)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) in a AA Section 6 bout, on Monday, January 15. St. Cloud Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 66-40 non-league win over Paynesville (Paynesville, MN).
