In Friday's league match, the visiting Buford Wolves basketball team scored a decisive 80-56 triumph over the Central Gwinnett Black Knights.
In their next game, the Wolves meet the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 13. Buford will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 12-4 record after their 57-29 league win over Rome (Rome, GA).
With the defeat, Central Gwinnett moves to 14-4 on the year. The Black knights travel to Dacula (Dacula, GA) to meet the Falcons in a AAAAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 12-4.
