Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC), 53-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Forsyth Country Day upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Furies travel to Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a NCISAA Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Calvary Day School lost 77-21 in their recent non-league bout against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the clash with the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a NCISAA Piedmont bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Caldwell Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
