In Friday's league outing, the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX), by a count of 52-13.
The Bearcats (9-14) will now prepare for their outing against S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Rams go into the 3A Region II District 10 outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, S & S Consolidated was crushed by Ponder (Ponder, TX), 42-36, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 6-18 record. They play next when they host Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 outing on Tuesday, January 16. Callisburg will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 78-30 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-11.
