With the victory, Marked Tree improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR) to play the Screamin Eagles in a 1A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Screamin Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Hillcrest won 72-29 in their recent league challenge against Armorel (Armorel, AR)

Next up, the Tigers play the East Prairie Eagles (East Prairie, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Caruthersville will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 38-20 non-league loss to Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO).
