With the win, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 15-11 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the Lions play the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-13 record after their 43-15 league loss to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX).
