The Johnson Knights basketball team (Gainesville, GA), was overwhelmed 65-24 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA)
The War Eagles now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oconee for a AAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Chestatee will confront a Titans team coming off a 58-51 league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Titans record now stands at 12-6.
The Knights (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Jaguars come into the AAAA Region 8 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Seckinger was overwhelmed by Madison County (Danielsville, GA), 62-33, in a league battle.
