The Community School of Davidson Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Christ the King Crusaders to 37 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langtree Charter for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores contest on Wednesday, January 17. Community School of Davidson will battle a Lions team coming off a 59-14 league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 4-13.
The Crusaders (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Charter prevailed over Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
