The Coosa Christian Conquerors basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting West End Patriots to 41 in the Conquerors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Conquerors now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Bluff for a 1A Area 12 contest on Monday, January 15. Coosa Christian will meet a Tigers team coming off a 38-26 non-league loss to Coosa (Rome, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.

The Patriots (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Broncos enter the 2A Area 13 contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Holly Pond was nudged by Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL), 53-35, in a league contest.
