Washington High School Basketball - Coupeville can't hold off Orcas Island

The Orcas Island Vikings basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Coupeville Wolves to 25 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Falls for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Orcas Island will battle a Tigers team coming off a 50-36 league win over Northwest (Seattle, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
The Wolves (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against LaConner (LaConner, WA). The Braves come into the 1B/2B Northwest contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, LaConner was nudged by North Mason (Belfair, WA), 64-47, in a non-league contest.
