The Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD), 53-25 in Friday's league test.
The Hornets (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Gladiators go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Northwood was trounced by Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD), 53-13, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Seneca Valley for a non-league test on Friday, January 26.
