Nevada High School Basketball - Damonte Ranch trounces Galena

January 12, 2024: Reno, NV 89511

The Damonte Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Galena Grizzlies to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spanish Springs for a 4A Northern contest on Tuesday, January 16. Damonte Ranch will battle a Cougars team coming off a 71-40 league win over Reed (Sparks, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 10-8.

The Grizzlies (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies enter the 4A Northern contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Reno was routed by McQueen (Reno, NV), 33-32, in a league contest.
