Michigan High School Basketball - Deckerville can't hold off Dryden

The Dryden Cardinals basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Deckerville Eagles to 42 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayville for a North Central Thumb - Stars contest on Monday, January 15. Dryden will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 34-18 league loss to North Huron (Kinde, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Kingston (Kingston, MI). The Cardinals enter the North Central Thumb - Stars match with a 9-1 record. In their last match, Kingston tipped Peck (Peck, MI), 86-31, in a league match.
