DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS), 46-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, DeSoto Central upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Hernando (Hernando, MS) to play the Tigers in a 7A Region 1 bout on Friday, January 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Hernando won 64-45 in their recent league bout against Southaven (Southaven, MS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Horn Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 69-45 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MS).
