In Friday's league outing, the Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX) basketball squad nipped the host West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX), by a margin of 45-42.
The Rebels (16-10) will now prepare for their outing against Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region IV District 25 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Hull-Daisetta was tipped by Deweyville (Deweyville, TX), 76-34, in a league outing.
The Oilers now own a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Big Sandy for a 2A Region IV District 25 outing on Tuesday, January 16. West Hardin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 37-30 league win over Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-6.
