Texas High School Basketball - Highland Park ripped by Farwell

January 12, 2024: Farwell, TX 79325

The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Highland Park Hornets to 11 in the Steers league triumph on Friday.

The Steers now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boys Ranch for a 2A Region I District 3 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Farwell will meet a Roughriders team coming off a 63-38 league win over Bovina (Bovina, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 8-10.

The Hornets (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Panthers enter the 2A Region I District 3 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Panhandle triumphed over Vega (Vega, TX), 58-50, in a league contest.
