The Franklin County Eagles basketball team (Rocky Mount, VA), was overwhelmed 63-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Staunton River for a Blue Ridge battle on Tuesday, January 16.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Lord Botetourt trounced Northside (Roanoke, VA), 77-19, in a league battle.
