Kentucky High School Basketball - Floyd Central nips Lawrence County

Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), 59-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 68-34 league win over Logan (Logan, WV).
