The South Charlotte Thunder Thunder basketball team (Matthews, NC), was overwhelmed 66-23 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Hawks now possess a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Ridge Military Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16.

The Thunder (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC). The Runnin' Patriots come into the North Carolina Home Education - West battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Surry HomeSchool was overwhelmed by South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC), 58-24, in a league battle.
