Joaquin Rams (Joaquin, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX), 34-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Joaquin upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Rams travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX) to play the Dragons in a 2A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 14-9.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 bout, on Friday, January 19. Gary will attempt to upgrade on its 10-16 season record.
