Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL), 64-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Bears host Ider (Ider, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Ider won 59-42 in their recent league bout against Section (Section, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Geraldine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 52-21 league win over Collinsville (Collinsville, AL).
