The Grand Prairie Gophers basketball team (Grand Prairie, TX), dropped 43-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX)
The Warriors now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a 6A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Martin will battle a Colts team coming off a 45-31 league loss to Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Colts record now stands at 5-17.
The Gophers (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Texans come into the 6A Region I District 8 battle with a 0-16 record. In their last battle, Sam Houston dropped by Haltom (Haltom City, TX), 49-20, in a league battle.
