With the victory, Hector improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Golden Arrows play the Mountainburg Dragons (Mountainburg, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Lavaca will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 50-31 league win over Western Yell County (Havana, AR).
