James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), 53-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, James Valley Christian upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to More (Rapid City, SD) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. More won 44-34 in their recent league bout against Custer (Custer, SD)

Next up, the Pirates play the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders (Miller, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Highmore/Harrold will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 51-14 non-league loss to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD).
